Cheers Simon, fully agree. Annoying to miss the club rides, but I am thinking of heading out to Farthingstone (due 11:27) or even Newnham Hill (QOM, due 11:45) if I can get there in time tomorrow morning to watch it.

Thanks for flagging this Simon. We (ie the Club) probably should look to plan for these events a bit better when they come near us and try an incorporate them into a club ride/event.
Hi Folks,
Just in case anyone wasn't aware, the Women's Tour route is going through Northamptonshire again this year.
Stage 5 is tomorrow and it goes along some of the roads we used when going to Upper Stowe on the club fast ride a few weeks ago. Details here http://www.womenstour.co.uk/stages/stage5/index.php#.V2TgEPkrLIU
There's some top riders in the tour this year, including our own world champ Lizzie Armitstead, and it's also a lovely area to cycle in so why not head over and give it your support!
Simon
