  • Just a few words of advice based on feedback from other phone users.

    Firstly battery in the phone generally won't last you for a long ride.
    Secondly you'll need a decent case and mount to see any data otherwise it'll be in your back pocket.
    Thirdly if you ever look at getting any additional sensors like cadence or heart rate then you'll have to get Bluetooth ones as most phones don't support Ant+ which limits your choice.
    Fourthly, the GPS sampling rate in a phone isn't usually as frequent as a dedicated device and so your trace can appear choppy.

    Finally, it's just not as aero! ;)
