The weather is forecasted to be some what warmer for this Sunday but now there is 50% chance of rain, yuk!!!! So please watch this space to see if we run this ride or not?

The weather is being driven in on a SW wind so intending to head for Kizzies at Lower Heyford for our tea stop. The route will take us out via Tingewick, through Tusmore Park to Fritwell, Somerton, North Aston on to Kizzies.. going to return along the same general route back with a few small alternative deviations.

Gradient: Undulating - nothing to serious!

Four of us set out, but for one reason and another first Stephanie and then Paul had to turn back, leaving just Guy and me to head on to Kizzies... only to find it well and truly closed! But Swan Wheelers are a hardy bunch... we headed up the next hill, stopped for a quick energy bar, and completed the ride, even with the rain starting and a breeze that didn't appear to give respite from any direction! Good to get out on the bike again after a few frustrating weeks - but it did feel a bit of a test (for me) - Guy's strength training showed through!

Nice post James, I regret not coming along as well. I would be struggling too as I have not ridden for a while, but need to start somewhere.
