Wednesday - Stratton Audley for Cake Anyone?

I realise the Midweek ride has become a bit quick, so how about a gentle 14mph out to The Barn at Stratton Audley for a slice of cake? - The wind has dropped and we may even see some sunshine.

Everyone welcome (and encouraged) - we will keep the group together - unless anyone really want’s to attack the hills - then please wait at the top and take a moment to enjoy the view.

The Route – update due to Heards Hill closure
Data overload here - just playing with all the options

68km (42 miles) - only 420m total climbing
approx 2:40 on the road at 14mph average

The road between Steeple Claydon and Padbury is closed today. I think it will be for a few days. I will try and find a sign and check, then I will let you know later.

It’s shut fro Padbury to Kingswood crossroads from 9:30 to 15:00- this is where you are due to turn up Sandhill road. If you carry on from Gawcott to Steeple Claydon via Twyford crossroads, you can go through Steeple Claydon and get to Sandhill road from the other direction. Hope this helps.
