A ride Sunday 5th November. George & Dragon, Quainton.

Here is the route for next Sunday's A ride. Posted early to see if any interest.

If there is enough interest to run the ride, I would like to run it the same as the BMCC rides I have attended recently, i.e. ride in pairs and regularly rotate the lead about every five minutes in an anti- clockwise direction, with no breakaways and NO DROPPED RIDERS. This makes for an easier and faster ride and is very sociable as you get to ride by the side of everyone as the group rotates.

I have chosen this route as there is a bit of climbing without being too testing. It also takes in a bit of the Tour of Britain route from Cublington to Quainton.

I hope there is enough interest to run the ride as it would be great to get the A ride up and running on a regular basis.

Average Pace: 17.5-18.5mph - This is quite achievable for the faster B riders when riding in a group.
Ascent: 2300 feet

Hi @PaulW. I did what I always do and clicked on “create event”. I notice that @paulS C ride is the same. Perhaps someone can advise what I am doing wrong as it always used to work this way. Look forward to seeing you next Sunday.
