  • Hi Midweekers - keen to go and see the new 7th Heaven Cafe - my son, Angus, has helped create a relatively short route, but does involve a very short section on the A43 and quite a bit of B road - let me know what you think - we can always go somewhere else like Limes Farm and save 7th Heaven for the longer Gran Fondo C Ride at some point in the future. Also, a little bird tells me that 7th Heaven stop serving bacon rolls at 11:00 am - is this true?

Here's a link to the route:

Look forward to your replies, thoughts and comments.

  • Sorry to advise Niall that the A43 for me is a no,no much to busy, also I can’t see which way round the ride is going but you can’t turn right out of Juniper Hill only left south bound. Far better to go via Cottisford through to Croughton.

  • Ok thanks Paul, will reroute

  • Hi Paul
How about this version, can't quite make your suggestion work but this is shorter. Is the very short bit on the west side on A4260 ok or could route south to cafe through King's Sutton - what would you advise?
    Thanks
    Niall

  • How about this 38 loop as you Loop you can play with Niall?

  • Happy to go with this loop - just need to keep a look out on A43 - it's unavoidable but your very short section is ok, ridden that before - they need a bridge like near Deanshanger!
    Thanks
    Niall

  • confused? the route I've posted doesn't use the A43 uses the old road parallel to it past the Tusmore Estate and over at a main junction onto and right to Croughton.
