We have 2 routes for your delectation
A full circuit of the Isle - 100k
and a slightly truncated - 77k (don’t worry all the climbing is in the first half so you won’t miss out)We should be able to meet up at Besty & Spinkey’s for tea at the 1 hour 30 mark
Then again at Cowes if required
Fish and chips back at YarmouthOther than that groups are encouraged to enjoy the day - fit in lunch somewhere, dip your toes in the ocean etc ….
What’s not to love?
Please click the attending button if you haven’t already
We have a few volunteers to drive - so would like to firm everything up on Monday

Thanks Niall.
Cutting up through Newport looks to be the best option.

Thanks Pat - where would the coffee/lunch be?

Sandown I think 🤔
Or Blueberries Cafe Shanklin looks nice -

Hi Paul & Pat
Here is my first thought for a shorter ride - 49 miles. I reckon, given the relative speeds of A/B and C groups, both would take about the same time on the road.
What do you think?

I found it last time - but too late before we had to leave. It's down one of the roads away from crossroads in Yarmouth, Cowes direction (ie, opposite to the ferry). However I think they also didn't open until 6pm.
Definitely need to do something as my one improvement to the trip last year would be eating before we head for home - don't fancy driving home on an empty stomach again!

As I have not been near this ferry/harbour before, can anybody suggest a best place to meet/park? Looking forwards to a great ride.

Parking at the ferry terminal - It’s very small scale - nothing like Dover :)
I believe you can pre book the carpark (I think it’s £4 a day) -
