Another 32 mile Leisure ride for you this week. It's not as bad as it sounds, as we will be stopping at the ever popular Thrift Farm cafe after 18 miles to rest your legs, enjoy your refreshments and of course conversation. The pace will be steady to let you enjoy the journey, rather than the final destination.
No doubt, there will be points where you want to streach your legs to test yourself out, thats fine no-one wants to stop your fun, but please do not rush out of sight, as I will be riding at the pace of the slowest rider.
If riding off the front...it is recommended that you download the route, so that you do not miss a turning.
Weather: Is looking good, mostly sun with scattered cloud developing, warm rather than hot. Wind moderate-light from the West.
For you own enjoyment do bring a drink for the journey (we will be stopping en-route to rehydrate), maybe an energy bar or banana. Please carry a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit to suit your bike. Lastly, do wear a helmet! - you will not be allowed to ride with us if not.
I do hope you will join me to explore the countryside around us. My aim is to keep you all safe, and be on hand to sort out any problems that may arise (but generally don't).
