It is currently looking like a better riding day now than of late this Sunday so hopefully you’ll all champing at the bit to get out for a spin.

Going to head for a new Cafe for a Sunday ride at 30 mls (2hrs) maybe put some food in your pocket just in case for this longer leg? before we back head in. Should meet up with Leisure ride as they are heading there too.

Destination: the Forge @ Evenley
Distance: 44 miles
Pace: 15-16 mph Ave.
Duration: ride time 3 hrs @ 15 mph plus the stop
Gradients: no problem as rolling at 1500 ft total.

Route: we will be heading out… south to Botolph to Calvert, Marsh to Stoke Lyne onto Evenley. Then back to Mixbury down Whelsh Lane, Maids Moreton & in to Buckingham to finish.

Conundrum I do have!... with both the L & now C rides heading for the Forge I’m switching this ride to the Harley’s Equestrian (44 mls).
Reason: I not convinced the Forge is big enough to cope with the number of attendees.

So a little bit more climbing as we head north through the N’ants rolling countryside, so off through Silverstone onto Adstone to our stop (20mls) back up the Culworth climb to Farthinghoe, Evenley and home.

I may have to drop off. I think I will do the C ride as I need to be home for 12. Plenty of scope for dropping back quicker.....dilemma!
