B Ride Sunday 15th December

Hi folks,

I'm afraid the forecast for Sunday, as of Thursday, is looking like its going to be very cold, around the 1 deg C mark, with fairly strong winds from the SW. At least its set to be dry. Keep an eye on the forum as this ride may be cancelled dependent on how the weather situation develops.

Plan is to do a 45 mile route including a stop at the G&D in Quinton. Route details below;

Expect a steady B paced ride in the 14 - 17 mph range, no dropped riders.

The ox lane road to lenborough is flooded so not sure what it’ll be like for Sunday

Thanks Dan, I'll check out an alternative.

Weather now looking a bit better for Sunday, up from 1 deg C to 3 deg C at 9AM, so hopefully less chance of any ice issues.

Hoping to join you Phil, but I need to finish reassembling my winter bike. If I'm not there when you come to leave it means that I haven't finished in time! So please leave without me. I should be there so long as I don't encounter any unforeseen hiccups.
