This Sunday the C ride will be taking on a 40-mile route, stopping off at The George & Dragon for refreshments, tables for 12 riders have been reserved at the cafe. There are a couple of long inclines on the way out, not too steep, and a rolling ride between Whitchurch and Quainton. All the effort will be worth it as we should get the benefit of a tail wind on the way home.
There is a chance of light rain, but Swans like the wet stuff, right! Seriously, the roads are likely to be wet and possibly muddy in places, particularly with the amount of road works going on, so please fit mudguards.
Martin has volunteered to support by leading a second group, if needed, so there are spaces available for another 10 members, 'first come, first served'. Please hit the I'm Attending button if it is your intention to do so.
Do not forget that the designated place for the C Ride to meet up at Swan Pool is by the parking ticket machine situated in the middle of the front car park. Please stay in this area before we depart.
So, mud guards, check, face mask, check, waterproofs, check, cafe booked, check, ohh and don't forget to put your clocks back on Saturday night!
