Firstly just want to say it will be great to be able to ride with you all again. While we're still not out of the tunnel at least we can start to see the light, in that vain please make sure to adhere to all the current guidance & bring a face mask for the cafe stop.
Also please ensure you have spare inner tubes & water for the ride.
I've planned a 51 mile route that can be shortened by cutting out the Winslow loop & stopping at Ring Road Garage to bring it down to around 46miles.
Cafe stop will be at Charndon recreational centre which has a Bloom Valley van offering coffees & warm food, but more importantly giving a wide open space for us to be socially distanced during the stop.
Heading north to begin with before heading West towards Stowe then dropping down Southward through Shalstone, Finmere before a winding route through Tingewick, Gawcott, Preston Bissett, Chetwode, SA, Poundon, Twyford, Charndon, MG, Grendon, Shipton Lee, Botolph, Winslow, Verney, Padbury, Lenborough.
Route is fairly flat with a few climbs & hills, due to the undoubtedly varying fitness levels the target speed will be towards lower end of 15-17mph average.
Meet up at 8:45am with a 9am departure.
If numbers dictate we will split into 2 groups with a staggered departure time, volunteer to be a 2nd RL please.
