This week's ride is a gentle ride through the West of Buckingham taking us on a loop through Water Stratford to Westbury Community Cafe for a short stop, and returning via Welsh Lane.
The Leisure rides are for people who want to ride in the safety of company, to explore the local countryside, villages and cafe's. Fitness is simply a byproduct that will happen as you enjoy yourself in the fresh air, and take in your surroundings.
You do not need to be a club member to attend, we are happy for you to try us for a few rides, to see how you feel about club cycling first.
Weather:
A cold'ish start but dry, with some sun and a light wind from the North.
Helmets must be worn on our rides, as members of British Cycling.
A facemask will be required for the cafe and whilst off the bicycle, to comply with current Covid regulations.
Long sleeve clothing still and gloves, but will warm up quite quickly, so layers are the most effective, and can be removed if too warm.
I do hope you will come and join us, we meet at location L on the map below of the Swan Pool carpark, at 08:45 for a 09:00 start.
