B Ride - Sunday 23 May (58 miles)

Hi all,
Looking forward to riding with you all this weekend
I thought we could go to one of my favourites - The Artyard at Enstone

Pace will be adapted to suit the group, 15-17mph

Can I get a potential second ride leader if numbers dictate please.

Looks like it’s going to be a wet one - I’ve booked 2 tables in the shack so far - so please click the I’m attending button so I can add to the booking if necessary

Could I also ask for any local knowledge on the road closure lottery - I don’t think we will be affected

Thanks Adam. However, clicking on it I get a padlock logo and a message stating that I don't have access privileges to view this course. Maybe you have created a secure file which you might be able to change to open mode.

Just to satisfy my curiosity - is the GPX file not sufficient? Is there another file format that works better with Garmin devices?

Also, a Garmin route is nice as you can upload from Garmin Connect on your mobile directly to your Garmin device. A gpx file must be uploaded by PC.

Ah, so not easy to download and import the GPX to Garmin Connect on mobile. I will try to remember to upload to my Garmin Connect account and share the link in future.

Good thought Pat, I've not tried uploading that sort of pure GPX file before, being put off by them displaying as source code. But it seems Strava is not intimidated and has successfully uploaded the route. Sorted; thank you.
