  • Right, second time lucky... (and it might not be very lucky considering how many diversions there are south of Buckingham!)

    For Sunday's A ride I thought we might head south to Waterperry. The plan would be to ride the loop clockwise with a lumpy outward leg going over the climbs at Waddesdon, Ashendon and Brill (Tram Hill side); stop at Waterperry at 32.5 miles, then a nice flat return through Arncott, Marsh Gibbon etc.

    2500ft of climbing
    18-19mph pace likely

    I have checked the council website and avoided all the closed roads that are listed on there, so hopefully we wont be going on any scenic detours.

    Weather looks great - partially sunny, up to 21 degrees lunch and an insignificant NW breeze. Bring a mask for the cafe. We will meet somewhere out the front of Swan Pool at 8:45.
