Looking forward to joining you - I will make sure I have the route as it is a few weeks since I last rode so may lack a little form!

Hello James, looking at the weather and the rider numbers, I'm currently thinking that the A ride should link up with the Bs as we don't have the numbers for a 60 mile slog into the wind and the rain. B group is also down on numbers but planning a shorter ride to the Milk Shed so it seems sensible to join them.
Met office is currently forcasting heavy rain 9-10 and then light rain for the rest of the morning/lunch. Will check again in the morning but if it gets any worse I will be inclined to cancel all together.

Hmm I hadn't seen the forecast until you mentioned it! Will see what it says in the morning, but I may drop out if it is heavy rain...

Hello Niall, yep no problem.
A ride to the Quince and Clover cafe, Great Tew.
A new cafe this week (I think). The photos look great and it's rated 4.9 out of 5 on Google, so hopefully it does not dissapoint.
Riding the loop anticlockwise, we will head out towards Banbury on Welsh Lane before dropping down into Fathinghoe, then Somerton and across. Cafe at 32 miles then home via Lower Heyford and Caversfield.
60 miles in total with a faily standard 2900ft of climbing. I'm pleased to say the cafe is located at the highest elevation of the route! Pace will be 18-19mph.

Weather for Sunday looks mixed, but currently dry in the morning. Quite a strong WSW wind which will provide assistance on the return.
See you Sunday,
James
