Garmin Route is https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/93934108
Maybe we could take the chance to try the ‘Railway Cafe’ in Waddesdon Station if required?
If the numbers are high we should look for a 2nd RL to lead a C on an alternative route.

Chris on the way back I’ll leave the ride at Padbury bridge.

Thanks Paul for putting this in a visible format. I can't see how to do that from Strava. Meanwhile here is the GPX format of the shorter and flatter variant, branching off just north of Kingswood.
I'm not actually expecting high numbers at this time of year so 94 will probably cope easily. But if not then yes the railway cafe would be another alternative. I like the G&D (especially its Battenburg!) but it is so popular that service can be slow.

Of course. Sounds as if you're riding in to the start.

I’ve signed on, but my hand is up for the shorter route. Happy to meet at the cafe if I’m the only one taking the short cut. 😁

It looks as if we´ll be 10 on the way out. Francine, Dick and Katie are taking a different route, probably to the G&D where we may join them after coffee, making 13 for part of the way back. So:
- We can ride as one on the way out, but in two subgroups to leave a gap for cars to cut in.
- We should stop, regroup and re-split at the junction after Grendon, with some going south to Ashendon and others taking the turn east, either to Waddesdon or to the G&D to join Francine and co.
- The numbers should be OK for seating at the 94.
- From there I will phone the others to see if the timing is good to RV at Quainton before continuing in two groups back to Buckingham/Winslow.

I'm happy to lead on Wednesday, a 42 mile circuit into a southerly wind with a stop at Cafe 94 in Waddesdon. It's not a large cafe so plan B if we are numerous would be for all or some to continue to Quainton. 9.15 RV with masks and money. Please click to attend.
The ride is pretty flat on average but there is a hill! Should any riders want a shorter and flatter alternative they could peel left at Kingswood and go directly to Waddesdon, or indeed Quainton.
