Similar to the Cs, we are trying out a new cafe at the Old Flight House, just north of Weston-on-the-Green. This is quite a front-loaded route (stop at 55km / 34 miles, two thirds of the ride in) as the cafe doesn't open until 11am, so you may want to bring a little nutrition for the outward leg.
The route heads south to the Claydons, skirts Quainton and goes up Ashendon Hill (climbing from the NE direction), crosses the midpoint of Muswell/Brill Hills at the crossroads, then down through Boarstall to a long flat stretch across Otmoor. We turn N at Islip and head to the cafe at Weston. Coming home is a straightforward run NE through Bucknell and Stratton Audley.
(Note - the road closure at Ashendon is due to finish on Friday, 25 Nov, so shouldn't be an obstacle!)
Distance: 82km / 51 miles, with the cafe at 55km / 34 miles
Ascent: approx 530m / 1700 ft
Speed: 17+ mph
Weather forecast to be dry and moderate, with a SW-erly wind. Heavy rain is due the night before, so roads likely to be wet. I will probably be on my winter bike.
It would be great to see you on the ride - please sign up if so!
I see no one is around - I may head out a bit later…

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
