Sunday’s outing will have us Slipper ing to Ledburn where we’ll be Biggs ing it up at Nanna’s Cakes near Bridego Bridge (renamed Mentmore Bridge) scene of the notorious Great Train Robbery in 1963. This was a heist which landed the robbers £2.6 million (c£38m today’s value) and 30 years each at her Majesty’s Pleasure when they were caught after leaving fingerprints on a Monopoly board found at their hideout. It’s a 48 mile round trip so we won’t be Buster ing a gut.
