Here's one option starting from Rowsley, just north of Matlock, going up to Winnats Pass which is spectacular. The route includes a loop at Hathersage but I've included the stats without this loop in case it is too much
Distance: 63 miles / 102 km (without loop: 52 miles / 84 km)
Ascent: 5700 ft / 1750 m (without loop: 4500 ft / 1375 m)
The loop is easy to cut out so we could even decide on the day. Lots of good cafe options half way round at Hope and Castleton.
