Please note the last time I was there the bike racks were situated at the entrance area while the cafe is at the back, could be worth taking some cable locks just in case

Met Office forecast is looking a bit dodgy! So, @StuartMcMahon, @Mark_Roberts if you want to leave earlier to make sure we get back before the thunder starts then I'm up for that. If not, then I'm good with the normal start time.

I'm having a similar thought - even if we leave an hour earlier, we could be cutting it fine so I'm currently looking at an alternative route so we can decide in the morning depending on whether the t&l forecast changes again??

Even as I type - the forecast is changing - I won't say too much in case I curse it - here's the standby anyway with a couple of shortcuts available

I’m up for the second course if you decide to change.

Last minute entry Stuart!
TODAY'S RIDE IS CANCELLED DUE TO UNPREDICTABLE WEATHER NOT GIVING ENOUGH TIME FOR FOR A DECENT B RIDE.
This Sunday, we're heading into Oxfordshire to a new (for me) cafe at Rectory Farm, nr Stanton St John. It comes highly recommended by one of our member connoisseurs.
The forecast looks possibly mixed to be prepared.
Please remember your smiles, spares kit and payment for refreshment and don't forget to click the attending button so the cafe has an idea of how many riders will descend on them.
If the numbers require a second RL, volunteers will be welcome (please).
See you Sunday

PLEASE NOTE - The weather forecast has changed in and out of our favour over the past 24hrs - I've planned a standby route (see comments below) just in case we need one with escape routes in the morning
