Depending on how I'm feeling after work I maybe a late attendee, even if it's only to offer moral support, will confirm later if I can make it π€π²

It's the 'Gawcott Challenge Cup' time again for 2024. As before, it's simply, you just turn up at the Crown pub in Gawcott, ride the route as fast and as safely as you can, and then reward your effort with a tasty beverage, mine's a nice Beer what is is yours?
We have a different schedule for this year with one more chance to see how we are progressing, we can all give some encouragement as we partake in a tasty beverage at the end. Remember: It's not about Her even not about Him, the 'Race of Truth' is all about YOU.
Safety: first and foremost this is an open road event; so please be aware of other road users, take the time to familiarise yourself by riding the route before hand when ever that suits you before attempting your hot lap; noting, potholes and failed surfaces etc. T junction- as the route turns left with traffic from the right, be prepare to stop.
Route
This years route is the same last years events with a rolling start outside the The Crown Pub, and will finish at the Lenborough road junction, Strava Segment name: The Swan Section Distance 6.45 Miles and your times recorded on Stava will be recorded accordingly.
