HI All, its time to think about Round 2 of our TT Challenge following your efforts from R1, time for some little improvements or maybe even to start one? A few are away inc. me so @lizcanyon will be officiating for us.
All you need to do is turn up at the Crown pub in Gawcott, ride the route as fast and as safely as you can, and then reward your effort with a tasty beverage in the garden.
The schedule for this year is over 7 evenings so more than enough chances to have a go and see what you can do? We can all give some encouragement as we partake in a tasty beverage at the end.
The most improved rider will be awarded the fabled "Gawcott Challenge Cup" (Current Holder is Squeaky) To view previous efforts included Round 1 follow the link to http://www.swanwheelers.bike/swans-tt-chÂallenge-cup.html
Remember: as always, It's not about Her, even not about Him, the 'Race of Truth' is all about what YOU.
Safety: first and foremost this is an open road event; so please be aware of other road users, take the time to familiarise yourself by riding the route before hand when ever that suits you noting, potholes and failed surfaces etc. at the T junction- as the route turns left with traffic from the right, be prepare to stop.
Route: The route is the same as last years events with a rolling start to the The Crown Pub, and finish's at the Lenborough road junction, Strava Segment name: The 'Swan's Section' distance 6.47 miles with your times recorded on Strava (a must) will be recorded accordingly.
If you have questions then please to ask.
