Wednesday 25 September ride to Whittlebury

This Wednesday's ride takes us to the Forge at Whittlebury after 24 miles. The total ride is just over 39 miles with 1,629 feet of ascent.

There is likely to be rain around so come prepared and if the forecast deteriorates then a decision to cancel may need to be made and if so this will be taken before 8.00 on Wednesday. The course has not been pre-checked but the roads are likely to be wet and possibly treacherous in parts so ride with particular care taking account of the fact that some potholes could be covered in water. Also please use mudguards.

Meet at Swan Pool from 9.15 for 9.30 departure.

Buckingham is currently @22:00 underwater along the river once more, checked the route, maybe some water at Biddlesdon across the road? other than I think we should be okay?

At bottom of the hill before Leckhampstead on the Leckhampstead Wicken road there may be flooding. Can review the situation at the cafe stop. Otherwise all good to go.
