SWCC B Ride 01-Dec-24 - Rectory Cafe - CANCELLED

After last weeks washout here's hoping Sunday will be good to go. The weather forecast is not looking to bad, light drizzle with a gentle breeze from the south. With this in mind have opted to use last weeks cancelled route so the ride home should be assisted by the elements.

The ride is a 50-mile loop to the Rectory Cafe, Stanton St John stopping at mile-27 for a cuppa and a chat.

It is that time of the year where fitted mudguards are preferred, please, especially with the amount of mud on the road of late.

Apart from that, usual rules apply, if you are out to play please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and enjoy the ride. Go on you know you want to, use the opportunity to earn your mince pie!!!

Hi, when was the ride title changed to cancelled please? It must have been today but at what time please? I missed it and turned up, rode solo.

😞oh no! About 8 am I think. Unfortunately you don’t get an email notification when the title gets changed or if a previous comment such as the ‘ride blurb’ gets edited. The only way to send an email notification for attendees to see, is to add it as a new comment. 🙁

Thanks Kirsty. I was in the car on the way to Buckingham at that time. Ideally a decision to cancel all the rides needs to be done earlier. The weather wasn’t that bad either.
