Flying Pig Cafe, Turweston Airfield

If you can survive the potholed road to the airfield it's a great place to stop!
Please remember that you are supposed to walk your bikes across the airfield apron.

There is a back entrance to the airfield from the south west however it can get boggy in the wet and isn't tarmac.

As a side note the Cafe is in the process of being relocated to the new building. Currently it's in the porta-cabins but will be in the new building on the ground floor by late June 2016.

Just to update this, although I see the midweek ride went there today! The access road is now infinitely better. The new cafe is looking like September although the current cafe is very good!

Following a conversation at the social Friday, I dropped in to turweston today and can confirm that just outside the front of the new tower entrance, there is a U shape of the metal crowd barriers that have been put there specifically for locking bikes to. The cafe us well and truly open and they are keen for visitors.
