A scenic route to Thrift Farm cafe with a shorter return journey. 36 miles in all so should be around 2 hrs 40 mins of riding, plus coffee stop.

Route: Maids Moreton, Leckhamstead, Wicken Woods, Deanshanger, Passenham, Middle Weald, Whaddon, Thrift Farm(cafe), Mursley, Little Horewood, Gt. Horewood, Nash, Thornborough, Padbury Brook, Leckhamstead, Gawcott, Buckingham.

Weather: overcast but warm and dry, light wind from the WSW at 7mph.

A nice chance to stretch your legs at you own pace. Undulating, but nothing too challenging, so a good opportunity for a chat.

Boy that was harder than I had planned. Not a specially hilly route but the wind was against us practically all the way, making it a bit of a slog? Or, more likely I was suffering from the effort at Silverstone last night.
Good turnout, made five of us in total. All in all a good tough ride, but good company.
With hind-site I should have chosen to ride anti-clockwise round.
