Leisure ride in aid of Daisy Ellis

This weeks Leisure ride is a little more challenging (but not too much), it is heading North into the hillier countryside of Northamptonshire. We will be heading to Wappenham, traversing to Abthorpe before returning through Silverstone to Whittlebury, where we will stop for refreshments at Whittlebury Hall, Orangery.

This venue is hosting a fund raising in support of local girl Daisy Ellis who is bravely battling illness. Please bring £10 cash for the stop, enjoy limitless cake and refreshments, and show your support for this young woman.

Route: Chetwode, Boycott Farm, Welch Lane to Biddlesden, Syresham, Wappenham, Abthorpe, Silverstone, Whittlebury Hall(stop), Lillingstone Dayrell, Bycell Road to Maides Moreton, Buckingham.

Weather: Reasonably warm, Sun with the chance of a shower (so bring a light jacket), light wind from the Southwest.

As usual, bring a drink to consume en route, banana or treat to keep your energy level up. A puncture repair kit/spare inner tube to suit your bicycle, and a Helmet must be worn.

We meet at the cyclerack by the Swan Pool at 08:45 for a 09:00 start.
