Would rather turn right after Green Norton as we be Sunday than cross the busy A43 on a bike.

Hi Chris can you confirm the direction. the file name suggests clockwise but garmin and Strava suggest anti clockwise

Spoke fixed in double quick time!!
And, I agree with Paul. I'd much rather avoid crossing A43 and going through the back-streets of Towcester.

Just back from a day out. I've altered the route to go from Green Nortons to Silverstone via Bradden instead of via Wood Burcote. Here it is if you have time to upload it. I've rechristened it Upper Stowe anti-clockwise! Thanks Stuart.

As always, we take hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. The section from Nether Heyford to the coffee stop is the only climb of any length, although we'll now be doing the bumps from Abthorpe to Silverstone.
The café barn are expecting us between 11 and 11.30. They can offer a breakfast menu and cakes.
Hello all,
I'm happy to lead another ride and have devised a 45 miler to the Barn Café at Upper Stowe. It's not flat, although relatively less hilly than last week's midweek ride: https://www.strava.com/routes/2872423536979031216
On the way back we have to cross a roundabout over the A43 at Towcester. I think it is now safe to ride across due to traffic lights on the Wappenham Road, but if not we can use the adjacent pedestrian crossing which leads via a short cycle track to the South Northants Leisure Centre, on our route to Wood Burcote.
Look forward to seeing you at 9.15 for 9.30 at the Buckingham Leisure Centre. The forecast is overcast but dry (probably) with a gentle NW breeze. If we are more than 8 we will need to split the group, so please can someone be ready to act as second RL.
Chris
