Hiya Swans,
It's time to create and bevvy, or is it a bank of swans depending on your collective noun preference? We are off to Claydon House, an architectural marvel that offers a fascinating glimpse into British history. Built in the 18th century by the Verney family, who still reside there, this property epitomises Georgian elegance. Remarkably, the house juxtaposes grand Rococo and Chinoiserie interiors with surprisingly unadorned exteriors—a true feast for the eyes! One can't help but be captivated by the lavish furnishings and intricate wood carvings, notably in the Chinese Room and the elaborate Florence Nightingale exhibition, which honours the famed nurse who was a frequent visitor.
