We will put on a number of routes to cater for all - more details to follow in due course - but don't panic, we will not be riding out from the Swan Pool!!! We will drive to a central point in the Cotswolds from which to start our rides.
In the meantime, please add the date to your diaries if you would like to ride. -

Welcome back Leisure Rides!!!
Our Leisure Rides are aimed at those new to cycling or maybe getting their health back.
As such, the rides are fairly short but come complete with a cafe stop for coffee, cake and a rest!
This Sunday we are heading to the village shop/community cafe at Twyford about 7.5 miles from Buckingham. Then we come back home on a slightly different route making a total of 15 miles.
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/113910574
All we ask riders is to make sure you have a helmet, appropriate clothing for the weather conditions, a spare inner tube and a bit if cash in case contactless facilities are not available at the cafe stops.
Hope you can join us -
This Wednesday, the C-paced group will be heading south to Waddesdon stopping at cafe 94. Route takes us through Gawcott to East Claydon and round to south of Winslow avoiding road closure at Verney Junction. Then across the A41, through the Waddesdon Manor estate to our stop. After refreshments, home via the many Claydons.
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/113508832
If you can join us, we meet at the Swan Pool at 9:15am.
Hoping we have a B-paced route as well........... -

Hi to all C riders
This Sunday is our club's big summer event - The Summer Solstice Ride
The event will cater for rides of 30/65/100 mile distances riding along Mr Woodham's clover leaf design course.
This gives us heroic C riders the chance to stretch the legs a bit further than normal and have a go at a full Gran Fondo 100km (65miles) distance. We will do this by completing 2 loops of the clover leaf, the first taking us West round to Westbury to meet with all other riders followed by a loop to the East of Buckingham stopping at the Mursley Farm shop for afternoon tea and /or ice cream!
Please have a look at the route attached and, hopefully, tap the I'm attending button at the top of this post.
You always have the option to just do the first loop stopping back in Buckingham - but I know you can all push on further!
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/112131168
It would be really good to see as many C riders out on Sunday
Hoping you can join us

Hi Midweekers
This Wednesday, we are off to Salcey Forest with a B and C-paced route on offer for your midweek delight!
The C route is a familiar one up through Stony Stratford and Hanslope across the M1 to Salcey Forest (at the half way point) before returning home through Stoke Bruerne, round the back of Towcester race course, across the A5 to Whittlebury arriving dowhill along Stowe Avenue back into Buckingham.
Route is 39 miles: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/45171663
If you can ride this route or the B route to follow, please hit the I'm attending button at the top of this post.
We meet at the Swan Pool at 9:15am for a 9:30 depart.
Hope to see you on Wednesday.
Niall & Paul -
Hello to all our SWCC Ride Leaders.
I would like to invite you to meeting at the Mitre Pub in Buckingham for a social get together to say thank you for your help and support over the past few years. Without your support, there would be no club rides and no active SWCC.
Also, I would like to take the opportunity to gauge your thoughts, opinions and suggestions on the current way that we arrange, co-ordinate and manage club rides. In addition, any ideas as to how we might encourage more of our members to be Ride Leaders in the future.
If you are able to come along, please click the "I'm attending" button in the usual manner.
Hope you can make it.
On behalf of the club, I will even buy you a drink!
