This week we have a fairly flat loop down south to the Green Dragon Eco Farm - our stop for refreshments after 11 miles, half war around our 22 mile loop back to Buckingham.
Please see the route below and you can download the gpx file if you have a garmin-like device to keep us on the right course. We ride at a pace comfortable for us all!
We meet up at, the Swan Pool, lots of parking, by the cycle rack at the side of the car park. Please wear a mask at the cafe when waiting to be served.
Helmets are mandatory on our rides, for your safety. We advise carrying a spare inner tube and bring fluids for the journey.
Please check the Met Office closer to the day to ensure you are dressed comfortable for the ride.
We meet at 08:45 to sort out details, ready for a 09:00 start. I hope you can join us. -

So here's my gentle route that would suit anyone new to cycling in a group or nursing injuries back to full fitness.
From Buckingham through Gawcott, Chetwode, Fringford and Cottisforf to our coffee stop at the Evenley Forge (15 miles). Then returning via Finmere , Tingewick, back through Gawcott to Buckingham. Total route 23 miles. Our speed will be around 13mph but don't worry as we help everyone to get round!
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/66640773Please bring a mask to adhere to COVID guidelines at the cafe stop.
Weather forecast suggests dry and warm, so bring plenty of water.
We meet in the Swan Pool car park zone L as on the attached diagram.Hope to see you on Sunday!

Hello to all C and Leisure riders.
This weekend we have the annual Summer Solstice rides where we all try and meet at roughly the same time at the planned cafe stop. This year, all rides will be aiming to arrive at the Westbury Cafe at around 11:00am for refreshments and lively chatter!
Our group will ride on a clockwise loop up to Syresham, Silverstone, Whittlebury, Chackmore, before retracing the first few miles to come around to Westbury (30 miles). After the stop, we will return home through Tingewick and Gawcott (total 40 miles). Massive thanks to Paul W for the route planning!
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/64616691As usual, please observe COVID guidelines at the cafe stop.
Hope to see as many of you as possible for this grand club event on Sunday.
I am expecting a big turnout, so volunteers for 2nd ride leaders would be much appreciated - many thanks in advance!
