Hi C riders - this will be our last chance to ride as a group before the second lockdown. So, key to the route was to choose a favourite coffee stop - my choice: Croughton Tea Rooms (I will try to book a table but as they are closed Monday/Tuesday, I may not be able to confirm this before Wednesday morning. If they decide to close this week, we can fall back on the Stratton Barn).
The route is a slightly longer version of our ride last Sunday taking in a few more villages as you can see on the route map below (40 miles with coffee stop at 20 miles).Route file: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/45068271
Weather forecast is really good with full sun all morning with a slight NW breeze. However, if roads are wet, please have mudguards on your bikes.
At the Swan Pool (Assemble Point C) & the cafe stop we will be complying with the Covid 19 rules by maintaining a 2mtr distancing and will not be exceeding the maximum number of 6 riders in a group to comply with British Cycling guidelines. Make sure you have a Face-covering in your pocket and that should be worn to respect the cafe personnel.
If you want to ride, please hit the "I'm attending" button to help us manage numbers for ride leaders and the cafe stop.

Hi C Riders
Our ride for Sunday has been overwhelmed by those of you wanting another Brashy Magical Mystery Tour (garmin allowing)!
We now have 14 riders which we feel is too many for one cafe location given current Covid rules - so Stewart has kindly offered to take a group to the G&D instead. Stewart will take Sean and his friend and Ray (new meet point at Swan Pool to be posted by Stewart).e
Chris and I will lead 2 groups to the Stratton Barn- tables & heaters booked - as follows:Group 1: (meet at Swan Pool zone C1 - see map)

Hi C Riders
This Sunday, as weather is not looking great, I have planned a fairly short, flattish ride out to Croughton stopping for coffee at the Stratton Barn, before a shortish dash back to Buckingham with the wind behind us, hopefully beating the rain home!Route is: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/edit/44860048

New route is a 38 mile loop, shorter to G&D and a bit longer on the way home going slightly further north before we drop down into Buckingham from Chackmore.

Hi C riders - this Wednesday we will be following an anticlockwise loop to the George & Dragon at Quainton (22 miles) via Twyford, Calvert and the Claydons where we hope to meet the B's (separate table to comply with social distancing guidance) before returning home through North Marston and Winslow (total distance 39 miles). See the attached route for details.
I have struggled to find details of road closures due to HS2 and E-W rail works (saw a few on Sunday, but all were passable but was Sunday!), so route may change in real time on the day!!! (No, not me getting my garmin excuses in early!)
If you fancy it then please tap the Attending Button and looking forward to seeing you at the pool.
If more than 6 book in then I’ll be looking for a volunteer backup RL please?
Please note that initially we will book one table at the G&D, so really important to hit the 'I'm Attending ' button please so I know if we need more than one seating area.Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/2755912269011328410 (Gpx file attached below)
