Hi C Riders
This week we are riding an anti-clockwise loop via Winslow to meet the Leisure Ride at Thrift Farm so that any Leisure riders who feel like trying the C ride pace can join us for the shorter leg back to Buckingham. Total route around 38 miles.

Hi Mid-weekers - keen for a return visit to the wonderful Croughton Tea Rooms so as the wind is from the west tomorrow, here is a figure of 8 route taking in Gawcott, Fringford, Evenley, Kings Sutton and Aynho to Croughton and then back through Cottisford, Finmere, Water Stratford and Chackmore to Buckingham.

This week, Wednesday's wind is forecast from the north, so we are going to head up to Bugbrooke Community Cafe (one of the best bacon sandwiches around!). Route is via Akeley, Paulerspury, Shutlanger, Blisworth and Gayton to the stop. Then back home via Litchborough, Greens Norton, Braddon, Silverstone and Dadford.
Expect light winds and full sun, so bring plenty of fluids.

Hi to all C riders and any Leisure riders keen to step up. This week we will be heading NW to the Forge at Culworth via Whittlebury, Silverstone, Wappenham and Weston before returning home, suitably refreshed and blown along by the NW wind, via Sulgrave, Helmdon, Syresham and Chackmore.

New month means Gran Fondo challenge time again - so the C Fondo ride will head on a 50 mile route (with around 2,700 ft of climbing!) north through Whittlebury and Silverstone then west to sulgrave and a half-way stop at Limes Farm at Farthinghoe. Then returning south and east through Kings Sutton and Evenley finishing with a loop through Finmere, Preston Bissett and Gawcott before a final sprint (optional!) to Buckingham .
Forecast is sunny intervals and a gentle breezefrom the south west.

So, nearly time for a midweek ride again - this week the forecast is for light cloud with a gentle breeze from the south west. Planned route: head west through Evenley to Kings Sutton, back heading East through Aynho to Croughton Tea Rooms for a break (not tried this one before), then home through Cottisford and Finmere.
Distance is 35 miles so can be extended for those who want/need to!

For the Bank Holiday weekend, our C ride is heading south to Waddesdon to Cafe 94 in the High Street via Winslow, North Marston and Pitchcott returning via the Claydons and Gawcott to Buckingham.
Forecast is good, with light winds turning southerly to help us home. Temperature may reach 25 degrees so bring plenty of fluids.

Here is my first thought for a shorter ride - 49 miles. I reckon, given the relative speeds of A/B and C groups, both would take about the same time on the road.

This week's C Ride takes us to a favourite stop at Farthinghoe to take advantage of the westerly wind on the way home. Out through Gawcott, Finmere, Westbury and Greatworth to Limes Farm. Then home via Charlton, Evenley (short cut home if needed for an early lunch!), Mixbury, Fringford, Chetwode, and Gawcott back to Buckingham.

This week's route is planned at around 30 miles to welcome new members, but with the option, if you've not had to much cake or bacon, to extend the ride home for any hardy regulars.
This week our route takes us south through Gawcott and Botolph Claydon towards Quainton, then heading west through Edgcott and Marsh Gibbon to the coffee stop at the Stratton Barn. Then back home through Chetwode and Gawcott - or further if the legs are willing!
Forecast is for sunny intervals with a moderate breeze. Any new riders - please wear a helmet and bring some water.

It's Gran Fondo time of the month so PLEASE NOTE EARLIER START TIME - MEET AT 8:15 AM FOR 8:30 ROLL-OUT.
This time we are off to Weston-on-the-Green stopping at the Milkshed Cafe. Route takes us west through Hethe, Stoke Lyne, Bucknall, Middleton Stoney & Bletchingdon before refreshments at the Milkshed (26 miles). Then home via Wendlebury, Chesterton, Caversfield, Stratton Audley, Preston Bissett, Gawcott to Buckingham.
Route is 46 miles, not too much climbing, forecast is for light cloud and a gentle breeze from the west, temps up to 18 degrees C.

This Wednesday's ride takes us on a 17 mile southerly loop via Gawcott, Steeple Claydon & Preston Bissett back to Buckingham for refreshments at the Larder Cafe.
The weather is looking warm, should be dry.
Please bring along a drink for the journey, and a spare inner tube/Puncture repair kit (better to be prepared). Some money if you are planning to visit the cafe.
Helmets must be worn, sorry.Finally, just turn up with your bike at 09:15 for a quick brief before we set off at 09:30.
