Hi Everyone - tomorrow's leisure ride is a loop up to Salcey Forest (good cafe!) via Wicken, Castlethorpe and Hanslope coming back through Stoke Bruerne, Whittlebury and Silverstone.
Please ignore end of my route - an old one from the days of going back to Solstice Cycles for an extra coffee!

Apologies for yet another version to reflect shorter route home. Big thank you to Paul W for route planning lessons! In future, will plan routes with proper maps, not Strava, that way, we should stay on tarmac roads!

This Sunday, the Leisure Ride heads west to Evenley, then south towards a loop near Bucknell before resting at the Stratton Audley Barn after which we head back through Marsh Gibbon, Twyford and Gawcott. Distance is 35 miles, should be back for 12:30 pm.

Leisure ride this Sunday heads SE to Winslow and Swanbourne , then turns North to Mursley and a coffee break at Thrift Farm. After a rest, will continue North through Whaddon turning West for home via Nash, Thornborough, Padbury and Gawcott. The ride is just under 30 miles so we should be back for midday.

This Sunday, given a SW wind, we will be riding South through the Claydons, swinging anti-clockwise through Edgcott and Marsh Gibbon, then a gentle climb over Poundon Hill before rushing down to Twyford for refreshments. Then back home via Steeple Claydon and Gawcott.

Sunday's Leisure ride heads south through the Claydon's to Quainton and a popular coffee stop at the George and Dragon on the green returning via Calvert and Preston Bissett. Round trip approx 27 miles.

Leisure ride this Sunday heads south to Waddesdon via Winslow, Oving, Whitchurch, through the grounds of Waddesdon Manor before coffee/cake at Cafe 94 in Waddesdon High Street. Just reward after a few testy climbs particularly the one up to the Waddesdon Manor Estate! Then home skirting Quainton and through the Claydons to Gawcott and Buckingham.

Hope to see you, weather looks ok up to lunch time, a shower cape may be a good idea just in case!

Leisure ride tomorrow: Syresham - Greatworth - Farthingoe (coffee stop at Limes Farm) - Charlton - Evenly - Mixbury - Hethe - Preston Bisset - Gawcott - Buckingham (or short cut back from Mixbury - Finmere - Buckingham).

Full route is 37 miles - if you are riding, please load up the route as my Garmin is dead and I will be relying on a old-fashioned paper map!!!
