Hi Everyone
So, we have a date for our Track Evening Event at the Derby Arena - Friday 12th April 2024 8:00 - 10:00pm.
We hope to have a 2 hour session if we get enough riders. We can have up to 32 (16 on the track at any one time). Those of us who rode last time will remember how tiring riding the boards really is. So, we will run the session in 15-20 min sections at the coaches discretion. This will also allow us to have groups of riders for whom this is their first time on the track alongside those who have been before.
Bikes and shoes will be available for hire on the night.
Last time we car-shared to save costs and be friendly!!!Please see costings as attached below.
Nearer the time, I will collate bike & shoe size information for the Derby Arena staff.PLEASE CAN YOU CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE TOP OF THIS POST
Any questions, please ask me.

Hi everyone,
This Sunday we are riding to Claydon House, where we hope to meet the Leisure Ride (always looking for some new C riders!) for refreshments and a chat.
I have had to revise the route as we need to avoid the road closed between Poundon and Stratton Audley, so is a bit shorter than usual. Hopefully, not to disappointing for everyone, particularly if a bit chilly on the way home!
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/238166633
As ever, please bring spare inner-tubes, tools, water and please fit mudguards to your bikes.
We meet at the Swan Pool bike racks at 8:45am.
Please sign up at the top of the post if you can join us.
Hope to see you on Sunday. -

If you plan to ride, please sign up as usual at the top of this post.
Hope to see you on Sunday - we meet at the Swan Pool at 8:45am. -

Here's our route, hopefully dodging a lot of rail works and Anglian Water roadworks going on this week.
Off on a loop to Twyford Village Cafe = probably the best value stop on any of our routes!
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/235023996
Forecast looks good with <5% chance of wet stuff - unlike most of this week!
Please bring spare inner tubes, tools, water and method of payment.
See you Sunday at the Swan Pool at 8:45am.
Please sign in above if you plan to ride. -

Equinox C ride details for Sunday's meet up with the other groups.
God help us this weekend!- our locality is absolutely littered with roadworks and closures so fingers crossed that we can actually ride this route (according to one.network, we should be ok but they are not always accurate with what we find on the ground!).
Our route to Claydon House is shown below...
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/198136811
Forecast for Sunday is light cloud with SWW winds.
If you can ride with us, please hit the I'm attending button at the top of this post.
Remember to wrap up and bring plenty of water, spare inner tubes, tools etc.
Good news - as this is an Equinox Club Ride, SWCC will be kindly funding your refreshments at The Phoenix Kitchen, Claydon House.
Hope to see you on Sunday morning - we meet at the Swan Pool at 8:45am. -
Please can I ask you all to ‘unattend’ and ‘reattend’ so I can see you still want to come in April next year - many thanks
