Great ride Phil, thanks for leading.
For anyone interested, Catesby Tunnel (which we passed the entrance to at Charlwelton) is now an aerodynamic testing facility.

Maybe next time we're passing, we call in to refine our cycling position.

Not sure if anyone has heard of this, but the Eddington number is a particular way of measuring the length/number of rides in a sort of exponential way. An Eddington number of 46 means you have done 46 rides of 46 miles or more. There is also a metric number which isn't as simple as converting 46 miles into 74 km.
More detailed explanation here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Eddington#E_number
This web site will link to your Strava account (provided you give it permission) and calculate it for you:

A bit of fun, basically. My numbers are 46 (miles) and 68 (km).

Nice ride @Phil_B, thanks!
Note that there is a three way traffic light at the bottom of Gawcott Road Hill (by the old Britannia pub). Looks like they've dug up all the nice new tarmac half way up the hill too.
