Just to let you know, there’s a new cafe opened in Preston capes, not far from Harleys, called Woodhouse Toad. They cater for cyclists, have an indoor marquee and outdoor seating.

There’s an alternative coffee stop at my house, as I live in the neighbouring village to Culworth! 🥳

I am holding farewell drinks at my place instead of the Swanwheelers April social at the Mitre as it will be my last one for a while! All are welcome, members and non club members. It would really mean a lot to me if you come along, even if you don't stay. I will supply snacks, soft drinks and house wine and if you have a preferred alchoholic beverage please bring a bottle. I hope to make it a fun evening, so if anybody has any party games please share them on the night!

I'm looking for a temporary home for my Scott speedster road bike when I leave in May. I would like to store it in Buckingham for up to 6 months when I plan to return to UK to collect it. I'm happy for it to be put to good use, so if anyone has space and is willing to store it for me, I would be very grateful!

Stephen, thanks for taking the time to give feedback and advice. All good points well made. I didn't know about the GPS sampling rate, but don't think it'll matter too much about the aero at the speeds I do! :D

Having finally decided to purchase one of the last few Garmin Edge 810's from Aldi I found out I'm getting a new iPhone for work. I've looked into it and I'm happy with the route and Nav feature with the Strava app, so struggling to justify my Garmin purchase! I thought I would give club members first refusal, before taking it back to Aldi for a refund. It's brand new unused in original retail packaging etc. and I paid £179.99 for it.

@StephenT I'm aware it's a good 1.5hrs drive so was anticipating being at Cannock for 10am and leaving at 1pm.
I was planning on doing the Red route, although did clock the absence of any mention of a Blue or Green route on their website!
