Hi Swans
With this weekend seeing the first Sunday of October, it's once again time for a Gran Fondo ride.
A change from the original plan to Marston Forest Café (one for another day after a bit more research). Most of the comments below relate to this so disregard them.
We are now heading on a 66 mile route via The Dairy Craft Centre at Upper Stowe.
The ride is open to everyone but expect an average pace of around 16mph.
Wrap up warm as the forecast is chilly. Bring plenty of food, gel packs and drink as the stop is at 38 miles and I'll see you on Sunday morning.
**PLEASE NOTE THE EARLIER START TIME - MEET AT 8:15AM FOR A PROMPT 8:30AM GETAWAY.

Hi Swans
With several of our riders away on the Isle of White trip this Sunday we will be running a combined A & B ride.
We will be heading into the Southerly wind on a 55 mile round trip to Waterperry Garden Centre.
If any faster riders want to push on in front, please make sure you have loaded the route into your Garmin or for the more discerning riders, your Wahoo Elemnt Bolt.
Please can we meet to the left of the steps so that we do not block the access to Swan Pool.
Please click "I'm attending" and I'll look forward to seeing you there.
Cheers
Guy

Hi Swans
Its hard to believe that this weekend is the beginning of September. That means though that its Gran Fondo time.
With a southerly wind forecast, we will be be heading into the Chilterns to a new stop at The Potting Shed, Askett.
The stop is 41 miles into the 70 mile route so make sure you bring plenty of drink and some food to nibble on.
Please note, I have shown the start time as 8:15am meet for an 8:30am start. Let me know what you think.
Please click the "I'm attending" button and I'll see you on Sunday morning.

Hello Swans
This Sunday, with a North Westerly wind forecast, the B ride will be heading to Harley Equestrian at Woodford Halse where you can try the flapjack of all flapjacks.
The stop is at 30 miles so make sure you have plenty of drink and a snack.
The temperature is likely to be well into the 20's by the time we finish so there maybe no other option than to re-hydrate in the Woolpack!
Please click "Yes I'm Attending" and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning.

Hi Swans
For this Sunday's B ride, we are heading out into the Southerly wind to the excellent PE Meads Farm Shop in Wilstone.
There are a couple of climbs to raise the heart rate but nothing a quick breather and drink at the top won't fix.
If you are planning to join the ride, please click "I'm attending" and I'll see you on Sunday Morning.

Hi Swans
This Sunday's B ride will be heading to Stockgrove cafe at Rushmere country park.
There is no A ride so perhaps we will get a bigger B group but it will be run at B pace to suit the riders on the day.
Its going to be a hot one so bring plenty of water and wear sunscreen (there's a song in there somewhere).
Please click the "I'm attending button" and I'll see you all on Sunday morning.
If you don't like the route or have any suggestions please comment below.
Cheers,
Guy
