Hi Swan A's
Here is the route for Sundays A ride. It is a 65 miler so we will be meeting at 8:15am for an 8:30am start.
We will be venturing into the Cotswolds to Great Rollright Garden Centre so expect a few lumpy bits.
The weather looks good with temperatures in the high teens so bring plenty of drink and some gel packs and food as the stop is about 32 miles in.
Please click "I'm Attending" and I'll see you on Sunday morning.

Hi Chris, itโs not necessarily the total climbing but the nature of the individual hills. If we get a new rider turn up for the B ride, Muswell hill in particular may put them off from riding with us again. I would suggest that you seek feedback from the regular B riders and see if they fancy these hills.

Hi Swan A's
This Sunday's ride takes us to the George & Dragon at Quainton where, all being well, we should rendezvous with the B ride.
There are a couple of nice hills but nothing like last weeks Edge Hill.

Please click "Yes I'm attending" and I'll see you on Sunday morning.

Hi Swans
This coming Sunday we are heading to one of my favourite stops, Harley Equestrian at Woodford Halse where I will definitely be ordering the Flapjack. Once re fueled the Northerly wind should blow us all the way home.
The route is from the database and was created by Paul Woodham which means it will be a good one.
Hopefully you can join me so please confirm by clicking on "Yes I'm Attending".
See you on sunny Sunday

As you probably all know, we (the new committee) are trying very hard to promote the club and improve the SWCC experience for all riders.
We have adjusted the speed bands to try and provide a desirable ride for everyone.
To do this we aim to give three speed band rides on a Sunday but can only do this if each ride has a ride leader.
Would anyone be interested in becoming a ride leader?
It really only involves choosing a cafe stop, posting a route on the forum and bringing a signing on ride sheet along.
If you are worried about creating a route there are routes available to use on the database or we can give you all the help you need to create a new one.
If you can help and fancy giving it a go, please let me know by replying to this thread.
Thanks
Guy

Well done Pete. Sounds like you had fun and all the training paid off.
