Luke & I will lead a combined C/B ride this Sunday to Westbury Community Centre. The plan being that Luke will take the 'faster' group and I the rest, providing an oppertunity to step up or down after the coffee stop.
The route will be posted by tomorrow evening, looking at a 35-40 mile loop. The weather is looking pretty good considering the time of year, light cloud with a gentle breeze, should keep the frost at bay.
Face covering mandatory, mud guards strongly advised, spare inner tube recommended.
Fancy it, then please tap the I'm attending button and we look forward to the meet-up.

The first Club C ride for 2022 is a steady 35-miler to help shed the excesses of the holidays. We're off to the G&D, with the weather being so mild should be OK to socially distance on the benches outside.
After a bumpy bit or two on the way out the wind direction should help us on the way home. What better way to christen your new Chrissie present bike bits, fancy it, then please tap the I'm Attending button. 08:45hrs meet for a 09:00hrs depart.
Don't forget your face covering and a spare inner tube and I look forward to meeting up on Sunday.

This Sunday we will be meeting the B ride at the Mursley Farm Shop [avoiding the Whaddon Rd road closure]. A flattish 38-mile ride, with a bit of benefit from the moderate North wind.
The weather forecast looks good for the time of year, dry and a tad fresh. Average speed will be either side of 14mph with no-one left behind.
Please remember your face covering and a spare inner tube.
If you are interested in joining me then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will look forward to meeting up on Sunday.

First of all the weather forecast; lets just say better than last week, dry, light cloud and a moderate West North West breeze. A tad chilly so Winter layers on. Talking of Winter, it is preferred that mud guards are fitted at this time of year, not only do they protect you from road spray but also your fellow riders in the group.
The route of choice is 45-miles, heading out north of Bucko, to enjoy an undulating ride and a homeward tail wind. A couple of options for the cafe stop 1) the preferred choice is Limes Farm, albeit it was closed for a few weeks in September [I will find out if open before Sunday]. Option 2) will be The Forge, Evenley.
Any C riders fancy a step-up? You're more than welcome to join us, the pace will be adjusted to accommodate the group.
Please remember your face covering for the cafe stop.
Up for it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting up on Saturday.

OK first thing to note; the clocks go back 1 hour this Sunday as BST draws to an end, so don't get caught out!!
Now then, who fancies a thrilling 36-mile ride, at a pace to suit the group. We're off to the wicked Mursley Farm Cafe, to meet the B riders, for a [trick] or treat.
Please bring a face covering with you and a spare inner tube, that's the spirit.
If you're dying to get out this one will be a scream. Broomstick at the ready? The please tap the 'I'm Attending' button.
Fangs a lot, Stewart

This Sunday's B ride is a 47-mile loop stopping off at The Forge Cafe, Culworth. A little lumpy as we venture into South Northamptonshire.
If, as experienced in recent weeks there is a high number of attendees, will split the ride into two groups, so looking for a volunteer to help lead a second group.
No-one gets left behind, and we ride together, moreover to support/encourage each other and conserve energy. Anyone wishing to 'step-up' to a B ride are warmly welcomed.
The weather forecast is looking good, light cloud and a gentle breeze.
If you wish to come out to play please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting up on Sunday.

Opted for a 44-mile, fairly flattish ride, stopping at Westbury for refreshments at 27-miles, hopefully meticulously planned to meet the A & C riders on time. As previously mentioned an ideal opportunity for any C riders to take the plunge and join this B for either the whole route or swap at the cafe, go on, give it a go!!
Please bear in mind there may be slight wait at the cafe as they endeavour to cater for all three rides.
Face masks; check, spare inner tube; check, see you Sunday

Will post a B ride by tomorrow evening; just a reminder that this will be a Club meet-up ride at The Community Cafe, Westbury. So this provides an ideal opportunity to step-up from a C ride to the B, either to the cafe or swap rides after the cafe stop.
Newcomers to this B ride are more than welcome, and the ride pace will be accommodating, ensuring no-one is left behind. Please tap the 'I'm Attending' if you fancy it.

This Sunday the B ride is a 48-miler to The Milk Shed, Weston-on-the Green. A flat route, at a sensible pace to suit the group, which is ideal for any C riders, who are more than welcome to try as a step-up ride.
The forecast is for a moderate south-westerly breeze therefore sharing the lead of the group to the cafe will be encouraged as we head into the wind. It will be well worth the effort as we enjoy the tail-wind to help us home.
Fancy it, then please tap the 'I'm attending' button and will look forward to meeting up at 08:45hrs on Sunday.
Face covering; check, spare inner tube; check, coffee & cake tokens; check .............. bring it on!!

Have chosen Limes Farm, Farthinghoe for this weeks B Ride cafe stop, with a 45-mile route, aiming to benefit from the light breeze on the return leg. Have tried to avoid the Silverstone traffic although happy to change the route if required.
This is a suitable route for faster C riders to join, so why not give it ago, the pace will be accommodating.
The forecast is a hot one, so advisable to apply sun tan lotion & carry plenty of drinks. Also please remember to bring your mask.
If you fancy it, please tap the I'm attending button, and we will see you Sunday.

Route amended accordingly, thank you Paul.

This Sunday's SWCC is a 45-mile jolly stopping at Salcey Forrest for a well earned cuppa. One or two lumpy bits to enjoy and help us keep warm.
Weather forecast is looking OK so if you fancy it please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and look forward to meeting up at the Pool.
Please bring a face covering, spare inner tube and the preference is to have mud guards fitted.
