Winslow Lions are organising a Sportive for Jul-20. It is envisaged that this will be an annual event, akin to the Winslow Lions 10k run.
They have enlisted the support of Swan Wheelers & British Cycling to help organise the event.
To promote the event a website is being built and I have been asked to provide images of club rides with local landmarks. This is a great opportunity to promote the club and hopefully attract new members.
I have selected the attached images for the website, however before authorising their use I seek your permission to use them. If there is any objection from either those in the images or the person who captured the photograph please let me know. The site is due to be launched by August Bank Holiday.
Please feel free to send me your own images of cycling shots, ideally in club kit, showing a local landmark.

With the weather looking good for the weekend it's a great opportunity to stretch the distance a tad. So opted for a 48 mile, flattish ride to the Milk Shed, Weston on the Green. Average speed between 13-15mph, but as usual if needed we ride a the slowest rider pace. If the distance is too much there is also a Leisure ride planned for Sunday as well. With all abilities catered for this Sunday here's hoping for a good turn out.
If you fancy the C ride please hit the I'm attending button.
See you Sunday, Stewart 07939 488797

Just one important note please remember that we meet at 08:15 for a 08:30 depart for this ride.
