A gentle to moderate breeze from the south forecast, so thought we would get the benefit by heading south to Waterperry Gardens. The route takes us through Gawcott, Poundon, Blackthorn, Boarstall, Oakley, Wormingham then homeward bound via Horton, Ambrosden and Stratton Audley.

Distance: 53miles
Pace: 15/16 mph average
Ride time: 3hrs 30 mins
Maximum ascent: 850ft

Same as Phil, will make a decision dependant who turns up. Will shorten route if required.

Slight change of plan from original route, by heading to Canons Ashby, via Dadford, Silverstone, Abthorpe, Blakesley, Adstone, CA for a cuppa & slice of cake, then returning home via Moreton Pinkney, Weedon Lois, Wappenham, Syresham & Biddlesden. 34 mile round trip at a steady pace to suit.

Fingers crossed that the weather will be fine.

With the weather looking good thought that we might stretch a little bit further with the ride distance this Sunday, stopping off at a club favourite café at Quainton.

Will head out using the cycle path to Padbury as we turn to Thornborough onto Waddon, Little Horwood, Winslow, Granborough to the George & Dragon for our stop, after which we will head for Edgcott, Twyford, Poundon and home.

We ride at the slowest pace, no-one gets left behind, so don't be shy. Happy to shorten the distance if required.

Paul thank you for the choice of routes created, opted for the 36 miler to The Barn as option 1 or 28 to Thrift Farm as 2. Decide in the morning depending upon consensus, either way the pace will be set for all to enjoy.

A steady 40-mile ride out at an average of 14.5mph taking in the Milk Shed at Weston-on-the-Green, smell the bacon! Riding out through Barton Hartshorn, Chetwode, Stratton Audley, Caversfield to Weston. Then on the return trip Islip, Merton, Ambroseden, Launton, Marsh Gibbon, Poundon, Twyford & Gawcott. Not hilly, nice weather, come and join us.
