This weeks B ride is a 50-mile loop stopping at the delightful Nana Cake, Ledburn at the halfway point. Inevitably, there may be a lump or two to keep it interesting!! There is a south-easterly breeze forecast that should help with the return trip.
I will be posting a Leisure ride for Sunday, therefore will need a Ride Leader or two dependant upon the number of attendees.Hit the 'I'm Attending' button if you plan to do so and we'll see you on Sunday morning at 08:45hrs.

This Sunday Club all rides will be meeting up at The Church Rooms, Silverstone to support fundraising for the local charity, 4theo. Our very own Elaine Evans is running the London Marathon next year for the same cause, so any donations will be greatly appreciated. Tea, coffee & cakes will be served at the Church Rooms and there is a raffle being organised too. Payment by card may be limited, therefore please ensure you have some CASH with you, please.
As far as the ride is concerned, this is at a leisurely pootle at what ever pace it takes. The route takes us through Maids Moreton, Leckhamstead, Wicken, Whittlebury then onto Silverstone at mile 16. Thereafter it's a short 9-miles home via Dadford & Stowe.
Weather is looking ideal, so no excuses, lets be avin' you. Don't forget to wear a cycle helmet, carry a mobile phone and a spare inner tube.
Fancy it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting up on Sunday morning at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

This weeks B ride is a 45-mile loop heading out eastward to enjoy the breeze from the west on the way home. The cafe stop is The Grain Store at Middle Aston, recently visited and recommended by the A riders.
The route is out via Caversfield, Middleton Stoney and the Astons, then back via the Charlton to Evenley straight. 1,661ft of upy bits of which there are 3 ickle ascents en route.
At the time of posting there is no ride leader for this one, therefore I would suggest we need two volunteers as it is likely that there will be two groups. If you can help then please make it known on this post so all are aware.
Enjoy!!

This is a gentle 25-mile pootle at a pace that suits the group. We ride through Gawcott, Chetwode, Stratton Audley, Fringford, Cottisford then onto Evenley for a well earned cuppa and slice of cake at mile 16. Thereafter, it is a short ride home via Mixbury, Fulwell, Finmere and Tingewick.
The weather forecast is looking good, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the West. So, a great opportunity to get out on your bike and enjoy the ride. Please wear a cycle helmet and carry your mobile phone & a spare inner tube.
Fancy it? Then please tap the 'I'm attending' button and I will look forward to meeting up at 08:45hrs on Sunday morning for a 09:00hrs depart.

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a B Ride? .......................... Doh! Don't mention hills.
Two defined climbs on this one, with the first being Gawcott Road, out of Buckingham, so lets be 'avin ya.The route is 53-miles of pure joy, stopping at Waterperry Gardens, at mile 27, for a quintessential cup of tea and slice of cake.
The pace will be an average of 15-17mph, so if you're too quick for the C and not quite at A pace it's a 'no brainer'.
The weather forecast is looking very good with a splash of Factor 15 recommendedPlease tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting up on Sunday morning, starting at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

Welcome to this Sunday's 'Road Bike' route, a 52-mile loop stopping at Rectory Farm, Stanton St John, for refreshments. This is a reasonably flattish route, with an average speed of 15-16mph achievable, ideal for the faster C riders to step-up.
Good to see that the forecast is sunny, with light winds from the south-west giving a helping hand on the way home. A splash of Factor 15 might be advisable!!
Fancy it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will look forward to meeting up at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

Further to Mark's advice the route has been slightly amended. If using the GPX file please choose version (1), the Garmin file is correct.
A couple of other points .....................
If you are capable of riding the B pace of between 15-17mph please join this group opposed to the C Ride. Faster riders on the C ride jeopardises the group and is not fair to the riders who sign up for a 13-15mph pace.
Secondly, some of the Swans are meeting at The woolpack for a drink or two after the ride on Sunday, should you fancy it.Stewart

This Sunday all rides are planned to meet-up at the same cafe, The Forge, Whittlebury. So, have plotted a 49-mile undulating loop stopping for refreshments at the halfway point. This is an ideal opportunity to step-up to either the B or A rides with the option to revert to your normal ride group after the cafe stop [or visa versa of course!!].
The weather forecast looks ideal, sunny with very light winds.
Up for it? Then please tap the I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting at 08:45hrs Sunday morning for a 09:00hrs depart.Stewart

At the time of posting this ride there is no ride leader to take the B so here's hoping a willing volunteer steps forward. If not, the group will need to sort it out themselves on Sunday morning.
As for the route, well its another gentle breeze from the north west, according to the forecast, so have opted for a loop stopping at Limes Farm Cafe, Farthinghoe. It's an undulating 46-mile loop stopping for a well earned break at the halfway point, aiming for a pace at between 15-17mph.If you're on it, please tap the 'I'm Attending' button, meet up at 08:45hrs and enjoy the ride.

The Winslow Lions are seeking volunteers' to help with the North Bucks Bike Ride on Sunday 14-July. This may include supporting with the car parking, helping out at the feed stations or other tasks required.
If you, family or friends can help please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will follow up with further details in the week.Stewart
This weeks B ride is a 47-mile loop stopping at The Milk Shed, Weston on the Green at mile 20. A relatively flat route with a light breeze from the South-West so should be a good opportunity for a brisk spin. Looks like the weather is going to be quite pleasant too!!
I am planning to lead a Leisure Ride, therefore will new one, or maybe two Ride Leaders to take this ride [dependant upon how many sign up for it].
Talking of signing up, please tap the 'I'm Attending' button, if it is your intention to do so. See you on Sunday morning at 08:45hrs, for the usual 09:00hrs depart.
