This Sunday's C Ride is a 37-mile pootle to Cafe 94, Waddesdon. The plan is to ride through Gawcott, Barton Hartshorn, then hang a left before Stratton Audley. Poundon [not the hill!!], Marsh Gibbon, Edgcott then to the Cafe.
The route home is via the Manor, Quainton & The Claydon's enjoying the delightful Southerly wind. Have you noticed when its against you it's a gentle breeze, yet behind it's a full on wind, funny that!! Jesting apart the weather forecast is looking good for the time of year, so no excuses now, lets be 'avin ya.
If the numbers dictate may have to re-think the cafe stop due to '94 being on the small side. That said there are one a two watering holes in the vicinity.
Up for it? Then tap the 'I'm Attending' button, please and I will look forward to seeing you Sunday morning at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

To Noah or not to Noah!!! A boat would have been useful last Sunday with the biblical conditions encountered. Thankfully the weather forecast is not predicting any more rain this weekend. So looking forward to riding two by two through our green & pleasant shire.
Enough already, I'll leave the waffle to our Chairthingy, Chapeau Selby ...........................
We are off to Salcey Forrest, riding a slightly lumpy 38-mile ride taking in the villages of South Northamptonshire. This distance is ideal for those C riders who wish to step-up and stretch their legs at a B pace.
Up for it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will look forward to meeting up at The Pool, at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

This Sunday's ride is posted as a Social gathering for those who wish to delay stuffing the turkey. This 38-mile loop takes us through Finmere, Mixbury, Evenley, Cottisford, Fringford, Marsh Gibbon then onto Quainton stopping at the good 'ol G&D. It would be rude not to endulge in a piece of their infamous Christmas cake, even for the Eccles Cake & Cheese lovers. Choices, choices Mr McMahon!!
The route home is a short[ish] 10-miles via Botolph & East Claydon.
The wind on Sunday is described as gusty at the time of posting this ride, will obviously monitor although hopefully will not be as strong as forecast.
Fancy it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button, deck your bike with tinsel and I will meet you on Sunday morning at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

Have planned a flattish 46-mile loop stopping at the The Old Flight House, Weston on the Green. The cafe, at c.24-miles, does not open until 11:00hrs on Sundays, so may have a have a short wait on arrival.
There is quite a strong breeze forecast, from the South West so should get the benefit on the way home.
Please hit the 'I'm Attending' button if indeed you intend to do so and I will look forward to meeting up on Sunday morning at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

Hi, fellow Swans, this Sunday's B ride is a 40-mile loop stopping off at Limes Farm Cafe, Farthinghoe.
The route is a tad undulating as we ride through the quaint villages of South Northhamptonshire, stopping for coffee & cake at mile 25. The homeward leg of the ride should be well aided by a West North Westerly breeze.
The average speed of the ride is expected to be c.15mph, considering the elevation & weather conditions. Talking of which the forecast suggests that there may be a shower or two, so worth preparing for the ride accordingly.
Please tap the 'I'm Attending' button, if indeed you intend to do so.
Look forward to meeting up on Sunday morning,

I'm posting this B ride on behalf of Tim, who will be leading. As the weather forecast is looking soooo good the ride is a 55-mile loop to PJ Mead, 30 to the cafe with 25 on the return trip.
A very light South Easterly with temperatures around 20c, should be a cracker. Might need to consider applying sun cream and carrying plenty of fluids.
Usual rules apply, ride together at an average speed between 15-16mph.
Up for a spin with our illustrious Chairman? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and meet at The 'Pool at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

Suggesting a 49-mile loop stopping at Waterperry Gardens for a cuppa & slice of cake. Should meet-up with the A riders at the same destination.
So we have a route, all that's required is a Ride Leader, or two dependant upon the number of attendees.
Fancy leading? then please make it known on this post. Fancy the ride? then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button.
Arrive at Swan Pool for 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart, enjoy!!

This Sunday's C is a 38-mile loop, heading South to Cafe 94, Waddesdon. 23 miles to the cafe then 15 home after re-fuelling.
Bit of rain forecast but hopefully we will be back at home before it starts. That said, suggest a bit of sun cream to tame the morning rays.
Usual start time, 08:45hrs meet up at the Swan Pool for a 09:00hrs depart.

If you fancy it then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting up on Sunday morning.

This weeks B ride is a 47-mile lumpy loop, well the first half is undulating plus a flattish second bit with added tail wind, don't you know. We'll be stopping off at Evenly for refreshments at the 27-mile point.
Would appreciate a volenteer second ride leader to help with a split group if the number of attendees dictate.
Up for it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will see you Sunday morning at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.

This week's B ride is off to South Northamptonshire again to reap the benefit of the North Westerly breeze after the cafe stop. A total of 45-miles, a tad lumpy and the welcoming Forge at Culworth, whats not to like!!
The temperature is looking to be above the seasonal average and there may be a slight chance of a shower or two.
The average ride speed is expected to be c.15mph, more importantly we ride together to get the benefit of all acheiving this.
Av'in it? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will meet you at The 'Pool at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.
