I’ve done a “track taster” so not Stage 1 as I though it might be. - It’s a longer path than I thought especially as we are so far away from a velodrome - Birmingham will be open within 2 years
A private club event may be the way to go if. a; we can get enough club members together, and b; if they would let us ride together with different experience and ability

Do as little or much is you like. Historically there is a wide mix of age and ability, some training and timing laps, some out for a bimble, kids playing etc, I’ve even seen 4-5 year olds on balance bikes and a charity rickshaw. I’ll should be there by 6:30. I’ll hang around the pits and we can decide what to do. Suggest jump straight in when you get there to get a lap or to in.

Visited on a very sunny spring Sunday - sat outside.
Plenty of space to stack bikes (on the pavement)
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. They were busy, so not super fast table service. We ordered inside and flapjack, carrot cake tea and coffee were delivered to us outside.Main menu looked superb, sadly not conducive to cycling, we made do with super sweet slab of flapjack, large wedge of carrot cake, good espresso/americano and a mug of tea. Around £5.50 a head.

Hello Swans!
It’s warmer - there is no ice - does this mean we can get out on a Sunday club ride at last? - Could be!
Follow me to Coffee 94, Waddesdon.I totally understand that people haven’t been out much, so 14-16mph will do it
I will post route later - in the meantime, click the ‘I’m attending’ button
See you all soon

Oh and to add - I don’t think I’ve had a better time (on a bike), it’s absolutely brilliant
