Hi Swans,
As it's the first Sunday of the month it's a Gran Fondo ride.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/21402929
Planning to head west to Croughton-Anyho-Bloxham-Whichford-Long Compton then stopping for a cafe stop at Wyatts Farm Shop. A few climbs on the run in to Wyatts Farm Shop to make sure we work up sufficient appetite. After getting fuel on board it's all downhill home (well almost) as we head back via Swerford-Hempton-Somerton-Cottisford-Finmere. Overall 66 miles in total.
Weather wise it's looking like 10 deg C, with 50% chance of light rain and fairly light winds blowing from the South. It's 35 miles to the cafe stop so best having some food in your jersey.
The ride is open to everyone but expect an average speed around 16 mph and a few climbs along the route. As usual no dropped riders and we will regroup as required after the climbs.
Please note the earlier start time of 8:15AM for an 8:30AM start.
Please click the 'I'm attending' button if you can make it. Hope to see you Sunday.

Equinox ride 30th Sep, deferred from 23rd
It's an Equinox ride this week so all the ride groups will be heading to The Barn at Stratton Audley, after which all the groups will ride back to Buckingham.
To ensure we work up sufficient appetite for our free cake we will be heading out to Silverstone and then looping round on generally "rolling" terrain to Farthinghoe. After which it's all down hill (well mostly) to the Coffee Stop via Croughton, Cottisford, Fringford. It's 37 miles to the coffee shop so best to have some food in your pocket.
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/20870412
Weather forecast is looking OK, fairly cool but light winds, much better than last Sunday.
Expect the pace to be around 17 mph, but will depend on the group on the day, no dropped riders. As always invitation open to stronger B riders who want to try out the A ride.
Hope you can make it, and if so please click the attending button.

I've had to update the route due to two road closures.
New Garmin Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/19740803
Distance has increased to 58 miles due to the diversion. Cafe stop now at 38 miles.
Hope to see you on Sunday. Forecast still looking good.

Folks,
Looking like another fine day weather wise on Sunday, with the wind from the North, so similarly to the B ride planning to head out North with a stop at Harley Equestrian.
The route heads out to Syresham, Wappenham, Culworth, Aston-Le-Walls, Priors Hardwick, Priors Marston, Fawsley, Preston Capes and then our cafe stop at Harley Equestrian after 37 miles. Route back is via Culworth, Sulgrave, Helmdon, Syresham. Terrain is probably best described as "undulating" with one steep climb at Priors Marston, but it is relatively short. After the cafe the ride back into Buckingham should be straight forward with few climbs.
Please view details below and please tick the I’m attending tab if you are coming along.
Good opportunity for any stronger B riders who want to try out the A ride. Pace will be 16mph+, probably around 17 mph, but dependent on what the group is happy with on the day, but no dropped riders.
Destination: Harley Equestrian
Distance: 56 miles
Pace: 16 mph Ave plus
Duration: ride time 3.5hrs plus cafe stop.
Gradients: 1900 ft of climbing, one short steep climb at Priors MarstonGarmin Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/19687611
Weather forecast: temp 21°, wind from NW at 7 mph; Precipitation: <5%
Any issues with the route etc. just let me know.
Hope to see you Sunday.
