Hi Leisure riders!
This Sunday is the club's Equinox ride meeting all the other groups at Phoenix Kitchen in the stunning grounds of Claydon House. The route is a meandering 27 miles, hopefully avoiding all the road closures, using a small section of the cycle path and the cafe stop will be at the 17 mile mark.
The weather is looking ok, but quite windy, so fingers crossed for a nice tail wind home. Please remember a spare inner tube that fits your bike, some water, a helmet and no need to worry about a means of payment as the club are very kindly buying our cakes and coffee!
If you fancy coming along please hit the 'I'm attending' button or message us via the website to register your attendance.I hope to see you at 8:45am by the bike racks at Swan pool carpark for a 9am start.
Thanks!

Hello C riders! This week is a step up ride stopping at The George & Dragon for coffee and refreshments. It’s a 31 mile loop, nice and gentle with an aim to go at around 13-14 mph speed average.
There are a few little lumps but you will be well supported with no one left behind!Don’t forget an inner tube to fit your bike, water, mobile phone and cash/card for the cafe. If you fancy joining me, please hit that ‘I’m attending’ button and I’ll see you at the bike racks at 8:45am for a 9am start.
Thanks!

Hello C riders! Lorna will be your ride leader this week so please join her on a 30 mile loop stopping at Brackley Central for coffee and cake.
The route is a bit undulating, but most of the work will be done before the rest stop so you will have earned that cake! The route home is more gentle, passing through Evenley and Finmere.
Please bring with you an inner tube that fits your bike, water and a snack if you think you need one, cash/card for the cafe, and of course a helmet.
So if you fancy joining Lorna for some chat and lots of fun cycling, please hit that 'I'm attending' button or get in touch with the club via email to register your attendance.
Thank you!

Hello Leisure riders! This Sunday the weather is looking a bit brighter so perfect for cycling! Due to an event at Silverstone we will head south for a 20 mile loop stopping at Claydon House for our cakes and coffee at the halfway mark. This time we will take the cycle path towards Padbury, around the Claydons then back through Preston Bissett.
The pace will be set by you, our riders, no one will be left behind! All you will need is a roadworthy bike, an inner tube to fit your bike, comfortable clothes for cycling, water, cash/card for the cafe and of course a helmet is a MUST!
Please meet me by the bike racks at Swan pool at 8:45am for a 9:am start. If you fancy coming along, please hit the 'I'm attending!' button or get in touch by email and I'll look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks!

Hi C riders! I will be leading you this week to the George & Dragon at Quainton to meet with the other groups. It’s a revised route from last weeks to take in a diversion near Nash due to a closed road, but it’s otherwise the same.
A few lumps before the cafe and a fairly straightforward return leg back to Buckingham. Pace will be 13-15mph average with no one left behind!
Please bring with you the usual inner tube, water cash/card. And if you fancy joining me, hit that ‘I’m attending’ button and meet me by the bike racks at Swan Pool at 8:45am.
Thanks!

I’ll be taking the C ride this week on Niall’s route to the George & Dragon at Quainton.
It’s just over 35 miles with a few lumps before the cafe. This will be a no drop ride at a pace between 13-15mph average.
I Hope you can join me. It looks like it will be a bit damp, so bring a light Mac and maybe mudguards are required! 😬See you on Sunday at the usual 8:45am meet for a 9am start.
Thanks!
Kirsty.

Hello Midweekers!
This week we will be crossing our fingers and hoping for a road closure free cycle heading south.
I've come up with 2 routes, a long (40 miles) and a shorter one (35 miles) both stopping at Stratton Audley barn for refreshments.
Weather is looking good with wind from the SE and it's a fairly flat route out, with a lump or two on the way home.
With the normal numbers we have on a Wednesday, I would be very grateful for a volunteer to take a second group. I am happy to to take the shorter group, but we can work that out on the day.
Please bring with you a helmet, a drink, spare inner tube that fits your bike and some cash/card for the cafe.
If you would like to join the ride, please hit that 'I'm attending' button or message the club via an email on our website to register your attendance. I hope to see you by the bike racks of swan pool car park at 9:15am for a 9:30 am start.
Thanks!
