Me: "Hi Carolyn. I've had a mechanical. I'm fine but I'll need picking up"
Carolyn: "No problem. Where are you? Gawcott? Marsh Gibbon?"
Me: "I'm in a cafe just outside Trinity College.....Cambridge"
Carolyn: "@#$$%^&*"Just one of the reasons I won't be joining you on Sunday! Have a great ride and good luck 🤞

Hi Midweek riders…
The forecast for Wednesday looks dry with a moderate SW breeze.
We’ll be heading out for 46 miles via Calvert and Edgcott, to Ashendon and on to the café stop at G&D Quainton at 28 miles where we have a table booked. Then home via North Marston, East Claydon and Padbury (avoiding floods if possible!)
Please remember to bring a face mask and to socially distance when meeting up and at the café.
I hope to see you at the Swan Pool (assembly point B) on Wednesday morning - please tap the Attending button if you are coming along.
Thanks....

Please note, the route (and attached gpx file) have been amended because of road closures between Quainton and Waddesdon.

Hi Paul...
Thanks for the advice. I rode the route today (really glad I did!) and it was passable. A little messy on the rise to Paulerspury after the bridge, but ok. I talked to a local who told me they have now finished the works (after 4 weeks). So unless its wet overnight I think we can go that way, but we'll decide tomorrow morning.
There is also a Road Closed sign between Abthorpe and Silverstone. I rode through that too and there is pedestrian access through the works (which are in Silverstone itself). Thanks for the offer Niall - yes please, and I think we may need another volunteer too!

Hi Midweek riders…
The forecast for Wednesday looks pleasant with a moderate NE wind.
We’ll be heading out for 41 miles via Chackmore, Lillingstones, Paulerspury and Blisworth, and back via Greens Norton, Abthorpe and Silverstone to the café at Whittlebury Bakery (late in the ride at 32 miles). Then a short stretch home via Silverstone and Dadford to finish on Stowe Avenue. Please remember to bring a face mask and to socially distance when meeting up and at the café.
I hope to see you at the Swan Pool in the morning - please tap the Attending button if you are coming along. If we have more than six riders then we’ll split in to smaller groups before we leave.
Thanks....
