Hi @KirstyC, I have done it once before and it is okay but if you would rather go the other way then I can change it.

Dictated by the wind direction, and the availability of coffee stops open on a Sunday, this B ride will be going to Spokes, Upper Heyford. The course has no significant climbs but there are a few lumps and bumps along the way. The weather looks okay but the roads could still be wet.
Distance : 44 miles, stopping at 22 miles
Ascent : 1,009 feet
Pace : 15 - 16 mph, sticking together
Route : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/142401855
Start : We meet, as usual, at Swan Pool at 8:45 am.If you wish to join the ride then please hit the 'I'm attending' button and come prepared with money for refreshments and spare inner tubes, etc.

The weather forecast for tomorrow (Wednesday) is dry but a little windy so conditions should be okay for a ride.
The route goes out into the wind stopping at Spokes in Upper Heyford for a coffee break. I have double checked that Spokes will be open tomorrow! Coming back we should have a strong following wind.
Here's the route. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/141327970 If you know of any issues, e.g. road closures, floods, etc then please let me know so that I can amend the route.
We will meet at Swan Pool at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am depart.
If you want to join the ride please hit the 'I'm attending button' in the usual way and come prepared with spare tubes, cash etc.

New Year, New Ride Leader!
The ride is a 45 mile loop taking in the Phoenix Kitchen (Claydon House) for refreshments. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/140995551
If anyone can see any issues with road closures then please shout so I can amend.
Normal rules apply, i.e. bring money for coffee, spare tube for punctures, mudguards for wet conditions, etc.
Meet at Swan Pool at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am depart.
Pace will be circa 15 mph but nobody gets dropped (especially if it's me!)
Hope to see you on Sunday.

Well spotted @Dom. I was more concerned about completing 44 miles in one hour! Never been that fast on a bike before. 😅

Given that it is bucketing down today I thought I would go out tomorrow. If anyone wants to join me than they are very welcome. If you are coming then I suggest we meet at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am depart.
This is the route I'm planning on using https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/134884242 but, if you have any improvements, or know of any road closures to avoid, then I will amend.
